Explain the purpose behind its use in the sequence attaching meaning to characters, genre and the audience



Who are the important characters and how is the camerawork informing this?



What does this tell us about the character's emotions or personality?



How are the characters filmed in the frame - as a group or individually? What could this be suggesting?



How is camera used to identify with the characters and create a sense of youth and rebellion?



Mise-en-scene, identify the setting - time and place, explain how this is established through costume, lighting, colour, props, actors appearance and location



Explain how the mise-en-scene creates an emotional effect and meaning for the audience



What meaning do we associate with the significance of the gig location - what colours and lighting are used



Explain how the elements (costume, location, lighting etc) of mise-en-scene compliment or relate to the meaning you discussed by the camerawork?



Distinction
Look for overlap and patterns where your analysis of mise-en-scene and camerawork overlap. Discuss how editing and sound link to, emphasise or reinforce the meaning and purpose you have discussed.



Discuss the pace of the editing and its purpose.



Describe the soundtrack and how it changes to fit the images - explain what this suggesting about mood (fireworks?)
