Task 9: Allocate group roles and complete the following tasks for your pre-production planning portfolio:
a) storyboards (Camera Operator)
minimum 12 shot sequence STATIC, STEADY AND STILL shots using a variety of angles and close ups. Use the rule of thirds and NO STICKMEN. You can photograph these if preferred. Then upload the images to the blog and ANNOTATE with SHOT TYPES and ACTION directions and the DURATION of each shot in seconds (you have a maximum of 30 second run time)

Write out your list of shots (TYPE, ANGLE, ACTION - what happens in the shot) in the ORDER you will be filming them, which LOCATION and number them
c) lighting test shots, (Camera Operator)
Take photos of your actors who will be playing the roles of the characters - use the green room to light them as you would in your advert (ANNOTATE explain how you are aiming for natural lighting to create realism and how you will do this with the available light sources on location)
d) prop/costume/ make up list, (Director) -
use screen grabs from eBay or shopping sites to source all the individual items of costume and props needed to show how much they cost an where you will sources them. Present this on your blog under 1 post and ANNOTATE which character the costume is for and why the props are needed.
e) location recces/photographs, (Director)
You must complete these on the site of the place you are filming. You must collect 5-6 photos you have taken (NOT GOOGLE IMAGES) to prove you actually visited and scouted the place. You must complete 1 Recce form fully for each location you ar filming. You must so produce a risk assessment with photos of the risks.

Email the site manager to obtain permission for shooting in College on the dates and times you are considering filming. If you re shooting outside of college you will need to contact the manager of the building (use google to get contact details) o the council if filming in public areas. Present this as an email and any replies you get.

the equipment you will need to fil: Camera, Tripod, Battery, Memory Card, Green
