edit a moving image production to an adequate standard
edit a moving image production so that:
edit a moving image production imaginatively (seamless continuity that aids narrative should also be rewarded as imaginative)
It is recognisable as an advert/story
the shots are arranged in order so the narrative makes sense and gets across the message
The edit adds meaning to the production - eg: the pace of the cuts appeal to the 16-25 youth audience it is aimed at
many ‘one shot’ scenes and not a lot of variation of techniques
the shots generally flow and use some continuity techniques (match on action, you maintain the 180 degree rule, cross cutting and the pace is suitable to create interest)
There is attention to detail when trimming and cutting each individual shot so that it is smooth and flows, and creates pace
editing style will be appropriate for the intended format ie it is 30 seconds and refers to the campaign
you may use some alternative editing techniques such as flashbacks, montage, jump cuts for special effects, you use transitions
You will use some variety of editing techniques such as beat editing, montage, match on action, cutaways, cross cutting and transitions which makes the viral ad engaging and creative.
